AITEC World President, Dine Bouraima Hails Chef Keith’s Guinness World Record Attempt in Cotonou

The President of the Africa-International Tourism and Economic Council (AITEC World), Amb. Dine Bouraima, has expressed strong support for the extraordinary Guinness World Record attempt by Chef Keith, currently taking place at the Palais des Congrès in Cotonou, Benin Republic.

Speaking during his visit, Amb. Bouraima applauded the historic feat, describing it as a source of national pride and a powerful inspiration to the youth of Benin and the African continent.

He emphasized that a Guinness World Record is far beyond individual recognition. According to him, such an achievement embodies courage, discipline, passion, and determination — qualities that young Africans need to embrace in order to succeed in a competitive world.

“It also sends a powerful message to the youth of Benin and Africa: with hard work and perseverance, anything is possible.”

Amb. Bouraima highlighted that Chef Keith’s challenge is not only personal but also cultural. By pushing the limits in the culinary world, Chef Keith is showcasing Beninese gastronomy, culture, and identity to the global community which forms part of the agenda of AITEC World, promoting gastronomy especially from Benin, the headquaters of the organisation.

“You are not only writing your name in history; you are also honoring our gastronomy, our culture, and our nation,” he noted, adding that AITEC World stands firmly behind the attempt and wishes her success.

Recognizing the significance of completing seven full days — 168 hours, Amb. Bouraima described the number 7 as a universal symbol of achievement and perfection, marking a powerful milestone in the journey toward exceptional accomplishment.
